My lame MIA excuse ☹
Well Hello there Luvies,
How is everyone? I believe my last post was close to 2 weeks ago (feels like eternity) and I really don't have any excuses so the truth is my inspiration just went downhill. I know I know, I'm terrible but it happens! I really haven't been up to much besides being a beach bum, spending quality time with loved ones and enjoying my Six Flags season pass. I promise to do better. Here's a screenshot of my Instagram photos to show you guys a little quick shot of what I've been up to, TTYL ♥

Exfoliate that bad boy
Are you Beach Bums like me? ... Then I suggest you squeeze in some time to exfoliate that BODY before tanning. It is very important to exfoliate before tanning for multiple reasons. Exfoliating removes all that dead skin which will help you achieve a better and longer lasting tan. I exfoliate about once every other week but i also have soft exfoliating beads that are already formulated into my body wash. Make sure to keep your skin moisturized if you want to keep that tan ladies, I can't stress that enough. Here's what I use to exfoliate =] .
Victoria's Secret Renewing Body Scrub
I purchased this scrubber in the Goji Berry & Mango scent and OH MY GOD, it's like little heaven ha ha. If you can't tell by now I love anything fruity. I like this body exfoliator because it doesn't hurt, who enjoys scubbing their life away.. not I! It works great and also has an oil like moisturizer that softens the skin wonderfully.
Co Bigelow Mentha Lip Buffer
This is a lip exfoliator that i purchased from Bath & Body Works. It's efficient, smells great and tastes like sugar. There are many out there on the market that all do the same thing so I'm not going to rave about this product & soon I will post a DIY at home lip scubber that works just the same.
Lush's Ocean Salt
I raved about this enough in a previous post so I won't go into detail but I use this for my face. It can be used anywhere on the body but I prefer to use it this way =] . It's refreshing, helps with break outs, blackheads and flaky dry skin.
Mr.Pumice
Heeeey there Mr.Pumice ha ha! Me & this guy go way back. Ladies, you can't forget to exfoliate those feet as well especially with Summer around the corner. Put those flips flops on with ease and confidence.

Nars Body Glow
Do you Gals want those SEXY bronzed summer legs?! Then I suggest you invest in a bronzing oil. If I can reccomend any bronzing oil it would definately be Nars Body Glow, hands down! Both oils have a floral scent that really isn't too strong. I use the Body Glow (bronzed color) for my legs, chest and shoulders but because it is a bit on the pricey side I only use it when I'm trying to throw the sexy on ha ha. Although, a little does go a long way. The Body Glow II can be used for multiple reasons; it can also be used as a body shine, massage oil or just for some added moisture. Have any of you tried the Nars Body Glow? if you haven't please do. Check out the dried flowers in the bottle.. so pretty and dainty looking. What body oils would you reccomend?

Summer Scents Haul
Okay Ladies Summer is almost here and it's time to change up that scent. I personally LOVE the fresh smelling, fruity i want to eat you up kind of scents. So I decided to purchase the two down below and I don't regret it one bit, they smell so good. Whats your favorite Summer scents?
Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia Gift Set - Macy's $85.00
This fresh, aquatic fragrance, whose name means, ""water of joy,""
captures the simple happiness one can experience at this extraordinary
destination. The fragrance's top notes rise like a soft sea breeze,
bringing forward a sensual blend of cool mint, warm brown sugar, and the
zest of Italian lemon. Next, the heart notes emerge with beautiful
floral hints of jasmine, dew of peony, and traces of pink pepper. The
base lingers on a uniquely Mediterranean trail of cedar wood and the
complex, herbaceous accords of labdanum.
Notes: Mint, Brown Sugar, Lemon, Jasmine, Peony, Pink Pepper, Cedar Wood, Labdanum.
Escape to Bali. Getaway to the ultimate paradise filled with sexy
sunsets that melt into ocean waves and lush green palms trees that sway
in the cool breeze. Lose yourself in soft, sexy musk and a brilliant,
textural fusion of earthy pamplewood and dry woods, inspired by the
golden rays of the sun and the wam breeze off a sparkling ocean.
Island-hopping never smelled this good.
Notes: rose petals, jasmine and hints of earthy pample wood

Sally's beauty supply HAUL
Sally's beauty supply HAUL
My hair has been so damaged this passed year because last Summer i wanted to try something new which turned out to be a total FAIL. I went from black to red hair so they had to strip my hair before coloring it. I know i know, it was an absolute dumb idea =(. I literally trim my hair about every 3 weeks until all the dead hair is completely gone but i still have some time to go. Lately i haven't been keeping up with any hair treatments so i decided to take a trip to my local Sally's beauty supply store and of course i couldn't leave w/out buying anything else lol. Summer's coming and you have to have pretty feet right girls? Down below are the items purchased, once I've used the products for a good amount of time i will do a review. Chow xo!

FIVE cosmetic items I couldn't live w/out this Summer
Hey there Bloggettes,
I know you've seen a similar Tag going around on YouTube but since I am not committed to certain products all year round I threw in the seasonal part in the title ha-ha. I would love it if some of you would join in on this Tag, it's a great way to find out about new and different products. Enjoy Luvies xoxo!
- MAC fix plus (gives that natural look after your makeup is applied, perfect for Summer)
- MAC cremesheen (any cremesheen is perfect for Summer, adds moisture & a tint of color)
- Diorshow blackout mascara (this right here is my holy grail, who needs falsies with this product?!)
- Maybelline's instant age-renewing (I've never been a concealer person because i rarely get under eye circles but with a nice tan this is perfect. It's a great highlight and adds that I'm awake face in an instant. i was a Lil undecided between this or bronzer but this makes you look like you have both =D)
- MAC tinted moisturizer (Now i am aware that this doesn't give full coverage so I'm sure not everyone will agree with me on this one but for me it evens out my skin & adds a lil color. I like the consistency of it, it's not greasy and it's easy to apply for when you're on the go)

DIY distressed American flag pocket shorts
Morning Fellow Bloggers,
Feeling Patriotic ?!? Hehe soooo I've really been meaning to create a pair of DIY distressed American flag shorts (wow that seems long lol) but wasn't quite sure on how exactly i wanted them. I've seen a lot of DIY shorts with the American flag taped/sewed and glued onto the front of shorts but i wanted a more wearable look. Let's get started =]
Things you will need:
° no sew hemming tape (Joann's, Michaels, craft store etc.)
° any pair of denim pants/shorts/capris
° America flag bandanna
° iron (for the hemming tape)
° scissors
° cutting board
° pen or chalk
° sharp knife or blade
° washing machine
Steps
1) Use anything with a straight edge to draw on a line for cutting purposes. I used the cutting board since i will be using it later on in the tutorial. When cutting the jeans i slanted my cutting line to give it a more retro feel. Keep in mind that the front of the jeans will be cut separately so you would need to draw lines in the front also. Start cutting your jeans once you have the lines right where you want them. Cut the front and the back separately.
2) Place the cutting board in between the jeans so you wont cut through to the back of the jeans when making the rips. Now for some fun =D , get the ripping! I used a knife and just started cutting away. Make sure to keep the rips towards the laying pocket area so you will be able to see the American flag through them.
3) Place the shorts inside out. Cut the part of the flag where the stars are into a complete square, once its cut you are going to place it under the are of the actual pocket. Get yourself some hemming tape and iron the two fabrics together. Once you have ironed on the flag to the inside of the actual pocket you are going to fold the fabric over in half and add some more hemming tape and continue to iron until all three sides are ironed together. Make sure to leave the bottom half undone/open. Do the same to the other pocket, i preferred to have the stripes going vertical but you can do them either way.
4) Cut the fabric into a slant (shorter side on the outside). This took some time to get them right where i want them, best way is to try them on and mark the longer area to where you'd like it best. Flip the shorts back over and this time you are going to take both bottom edges and fold them inside facing each other ; add some hemming tape and iron.
5) Wash & Dry & voila ! (Make sure to have it on delicate because you don't want to ruin that hem)
