So I know I've been a little MIA recently, if you are wondering what I've been up to well...... I've been thrifting, shopping and relaxing. I wanted to share my little week's adventure with you gals just in case you are interested and later on I will post a shopping haul. This weekend was pretty much spent with the Hubs & the family I did some coloring to my cousins hair (ombre style) and hada fun filled day doing some retail therapy on Sunday. Father's day is coming up and I can't be empty handed ha ha and plus a little shopping for me wouldn't hurt =) . Then towards the end of the afternoon we headed out to a Portuguese festival to enjoy some Sangria. How was your weekend?

Isabel Marant Inspired Top

Hey Sweets,

I just wanted to share a before and after picture of a denim shirt i found thrifting a while back that was posted in one of my Hauls. I'm sorry that I didn't take any actual pictures of the steps that were made but I typed out the steps I made during this DIY project. I was "inspired" by the Isabel Marant bleached shirt that Rihanna was seen wearing down below, enjoy xo.

Notes: I did a tie dye technique (twisting and scrunching up fabric then tightening it with rubber bands) all over the top. Added 2 cups of bleach and one cup of water into a bucket then laid the top on each side for 30 minutes. Rinsed with some cold water and washed it alone in the washing machine then left it to hang dry.

Houston, we have a problem! I am OBSESSED ahhhh lol. I know I said in a previous post that my original plan was to do my thrifting DIY projects over the weekend but I was so excited that i finally got my hands on some vintage Levi's that i just couldn't deal ha ha, that and I had to do laundry so it made sense to throw them in after slicing them up. I wanted to share my envisioned look with you gals =D . How do you wear your short shorts?

Goodwill Thrifting Haul

Okay so during yesterdays lunch break i paid Goodwill a little one hour visit and was pleasantly surprised to find some interesting things for 50% off. I go in every now and then to see if i can get my hands on some vintage MOM jeans that i can destruct but i can never find any that actually fit me... sad i know but i did this time *pats self on back* ! As I was walking around I decided to give the back of the store some glancing time and found a bin full of bags, clutches and wallets that have plenty of potential to be revamped. Looks like I'm going to have a busy weekend ha ha.

My MDW

 Hey Ladies,

It's Wednesday and I'm back at work.. YIPPIE (said with major sarcasm)! I had such a good weekend though. Saturday me and the Hubs spent the whole day at Six Flags. The weather was great and since we got the platinum flash pass (90% reduction in wait time) we had to take advantage of it lol. We literally rode every roller coaster at least 2-4 times each. Sunday we ran some errands and spent the rest of the day enjoying our central air, watching movies and cooking out.. well in our case cooking in lol who needs a grill when you have a George Foreman =P .. Monday we went to the Beach and Tuesday went to the movies to go see What to expect when expecting (what a fail). i give it 2 stars SMH. How did you guys spend your extended weekends? 

Mini Neon Haul!

 NEONS BABAAAAY !!

Who's into them? I know I am, well recently anyway =P. I needed to invest in some neons and for some reason I'm really drawn to the yellows. If you're into them what color are you really drawn to?

• H&M Beaded necklace $14.95 - Love this necklace! It's a nice way to throw in a pop of color. Although, it's not something you can get a good wear out of it's a great accessory.

• Forever 21 High-Rise Neon Shorts w/ Belt $19.80 - These were very stretchy and form fitting. Runs a little big. The quality is pretty good and the belt gives it a nice touch.

• Forever 21 Spiked Stretchy Bracelet $7.80 - I'm all about the spikes right now. This one is like a plastic material, very stretchy and fits snugged. So that's a plus.

• Forever 21 Slub Knit Tee $10.80 - I'm usually a small but I purchased a Medium so i can have a more loose fitting feel. I love the fit of this and I'm planning to purchase other colors.

My Sweet Weekend

Hey Ladies,

  I had a pretty relaxing weekend. Saturday Morning was spent at the gym then me and the Hubs took a day trip to NY, did a little shopping then headed out to Serendipity for some infamous frozen hot chocolate and an upside down pineapple sundae. Diet FAIL, i know but doesn't it look yummy? Have you guys ever been to Serendipity 3? Sunday I spent the day with my mom running some errands and watching Lifetime (p.s. I'm addicted to the Client List.. don't judge me) lol.The weather was so beautiful this weekend so any excuse to get out of the house was fine with me.Oh yeah, everyone meet Zoe my Mini Schnauzer. How was your weekend?

My long awaited wax coated denim

 Hey Luvies,

So I've been extremely obsessed with finding the right faux leather looking pants but never found any that had a good fit. It was either too baggy, too thin, too expensive, too cheap looking or just not right but i still continued to search. Last week i decided to give the whole search a shot AGAIN and found a pair of black wax coated jeggings by Flying Monkey i ordered them and they fit perfect, exactly what i was looking for for a reasonable price. Funny thing is that they sent me the incorrect pair with yellow stitching around the pockets but since the fit was still good.... hey, why not keep them? =D . I posted a pic of how i plan on wearing them, enjoy xo.

Handbag Haul

SIGH!! I am one happy camper y'all lol. I've been looking for an everyday handbag for a while now and lately I've really been into the MCM brand. I always had an eye out for the LV Alma because of it's shape and this one sort of resembles it but even better since it doesn't have that extreme height of the Alma. The bag was purchased from Bloomingdales for $770.00 + tax and it is called the Heritage small Milva. I love the whole distressed looking leather that it has and the suede interior fabric has this super rich feel. As for that eye candy below (the Fendi messenger bag) me and the Hubbs went to an after party in the city for the Superbowl and he spotted one of the females there with that same vintage bag. Long story short ever since then I've been searching for something similar until i ran across the same Fendi bag on eBay & won the listing for 90 bucks! I posted some of the pictures down below with a sample of how i would incorporate them into my wardrobe, enjoy =]
