Vintage loving ♥

Okay, so when I went thrifting on Sunday my intentions were to look for some more high waisted jeans (as if I need any more SMH) but instead I ran across this vintage chair that screamed "I have potential TAKE ME" lol so I couldn't resist. I mean come on it was only $3.99, yes girl $3.99! I've been working on it ever since and all I need is to find the perfect fabric for re-upholstery. I'm a little timid to purchase it online because knowing me I'll be very unhappy with whatever is sent to me... never satisfied I tell you ha ha. I definitely plan on posting my adventure with you guys when I'm done so you can tell me what you think. I'm excited to see the before & after =) .

Isabel Marant Inspired Top

Hey Sweets,

I just wanted to share a before and after picture of a denim shirt i found thrifting a while back that was posted in one of my Hauls. I'm sorry that I didn't take any actual pictures of the steps that were made but I typed out the steps I made during this DIY project. I was "inspired" by the Isabel Marant bleached shirt that Rihanna was seen wearing down below, enjoy xo.

Notes: I did a tie dye technique (twisting and scrunching up fabric then tightening it with rubber bands) all over the top. Added 2 cups of bleach and one cup of water into a bucket then laid the top on each side for 30 minutes. Rinsed with some cold water and washed it alone in the washing machine then left it to hang dry.
