Dip Dyeing Denim

Well hello there Darlings,

The other day I was pretty psyched that I had some time to do a little Dip Dyeing with two pairs of my high waisted shorts. I love how they came out which may be an issue because now all I wanna do is DYE everything in sight ha ha. I also took a picture of myself trying them on but the picture came out a little to blurry but if you still would like for me to post them just let me know and i'll add them in. What do you gals think?

Things I used for dip dyeing:
Rit Liquid Dyes in Purple and Aquamarine
Bleach
Scissors
Salt for Dye mix

DIY Muscle Tee

Things you will need:

• Old t-shirt
• Scissors
• Pen

Steps:

1. Lay your t-shirt down and cut both the bottom and neck hem.
2. Cut off the sleeves starting from the shoulders and repeat with the other side. Do this to your liking depending on how thick you want your straps.
3. Flip your t-shirt over and draw out a v, it can go as low or as thin as you'd like.
4. Now you are going to take the bottom hem that you cut off and cut it to make one long piece.
5. Take the long hem piece and wrap it around starting from the top of the neckline and wrap it around tightly going as low as you'd like and wrap the piece back up to the top to tie both ends together.
6. Cut the excess hem piece and you're almost done.
7. Try on the top and draw out if you would like to lower the neckline in the front and sides. I chose to lower them so I can wear a bandeau top, whatever you prefer & voila !

 

Goodwill Thrifting Haul

Okay so during yesterdays lunch break i paid Goodwill a little one hour visit and was pleasantly surprised to find some interesting things for 50% off. I go in every now and then to see if i can get my hands on some vintage MOM jeans that i can destruct but i can never find any that actually fit me... sad i know but i did this time *pats self on back* ! As I was walking around I decided to give the back of the store some glancing time and found a bin full of bags, clutches and wallets that have plenty of potential to be revamped. Looks like I'm going to have a busy weekend ha ha.
