Goodwill Thrifting Haul

Okay so during yesterdays lunch break i paid Goodwill a little one hour visit and was pleasantly surprised to find some interesting things for 50% off. I go in every now and then to see if i can get my hands on some vintage MOM jeans that i can destruct but i can never find any that actually fit me... sad i know but i did this time *pats self on back* ! As I was walking around I decided to give the back of the store some glancing time and found a bin full of bags, clutches and wallets that have plenty of potential to be revamped. Looks like I'm going to have a busy weekend ha ha.

H&M fashion on a budget

 Last week I purchased some daytime Summer dresses from H&M that's great for the ladies on a budget. I know that I'm always looking for a great deal so I thought I would share some ways of how I would wear the dresses I brought down below, enjoy =] .

My MDW

 Hey Ladies,

It's Wednesday and I'm back at work.. YIPPIE (said with major sarcasm)! I had such a good weekend though. Saturday me and the Hubs spent the whole day at Six Flags. The weather was great and since we got the platinum flash pass (90% reduction in wait time) we had to take advantage of it lol. We literally rode every roller coaster at least 2-4 times each. Sunday we ran some errands and spent the rest of the day enjoying our central air, watching movies and cooking out.. well in our case cooking in lol who needs a grill when you have a George Foreman =P .. Monday we went to the Beach and Tuesday went to the movies to go see What to expect when expecting (what a fail). i give it 2 stars SMH. How did you guys spend your extended weekends? 

Mini Neon Haul!

 NEONS BABAAAAY !!

Who's into them? I know I am, well recently anyway =P. I needed to invest in some neons and for some reason I'm really drawn to the yellows. If you're into them what color are you really drawn to?

• H&M Beaded necklace $14.95 - Love this necklace! It's a nice way to throw in a pop of color. Although, it's not something you can get a good wear out of it's a great accessory.

• Forever 21 High-Rise Neon Shorts w/ Belt $19.80 - These were very stretchy and form fitting. Runs a little big. The quality is pretty good and the belt gives it a nice touch.

• Forever 21 Spiked Stretchy Bracelet $7.80 - I'm all about the spikes right now. This one is like a plastic material, very stretchy and fits snugged. So that's a plus.

• Forever 21 Slub Knit Tee $10.80 - I'm usually a small but I purchased a Medium so i can have a more loose fitting feel. I love the fit of this and I'm planning to purchase other colors.

Drugstore.com Haul

 Hey Guys, 

During my healthy hair shopping craze I found a video on YouTube titled "How to get Long Shiny Healthy Hair!" and decided to check her routine out being that her hair looked amazing. She mentioned both shampoo and leave in conditioner in her video and i decided to give it a try since i was shopping for vitamins anyway at drugstore.com. Nars Body Glow

Do you Gals want those SEXY bronzed  summer legs?! Then I suggest you invest in a bronzing oil. If I can reccomend any bronzing oil it would definately be Nars Body Glow, hands down! Both oils have a floral scent that really isn't too strong. I use the Body Glow (bronzed color) for my legs, chest and shoulders but because it is a bit on the pricey side I only use it when I'm trying to throw the sexy on ha ha. Although, a little does go a long way. The Body Glow II can be used for multiple reasons; it can also be used as a body shine, massage oil or just for some added moisture. Have any of you tried the Nars Body Glow? if you haven't please do. Check out the dried flowers in the bottle.. so pretty and dainty looking. What body oils would you reccomend?

My Sweet Weekend

Hey Ladies,

  I had a pretty relaxing weekend. Saturday Morning was spent at the gym then me and the Hubs took a day trip to NY, did a little shopping then headed out to Serendipity for some infamous frozen hot chocolate and an upside down pineapple sundae. Diet FAIL, i know but doesn't it look yummy? Have you guys ever been to Serendipity 3? Sunday I spent the day with my mom running some errands and watching Lifetime (p.s. I'm addicted to the Client List.. don't judge me) lol.The weather was so beautiful this weekend so any excuse to get out of the house was fine with me.Oh yeah, everyone meet Zoe my Mini Schnauzer. How was your weekend?

Monistat 7 whaaaat?!

Some of you ladies might have heard of Monistat 7 for hair growth and some of you might think I'm just a little insane lol. Maybe I am but i did a lot of research before i decided to try the 30 day challenge that has been hidden all over Youtube (where have I been). There's an ingredient in Monistat 7 called miconazole nitrate that has been known to help your hair grow almost double the amount of it's natural growth (which is a 1/2 an inch per month). I've seen a lot of before and after pictures for people that have tested the coochie cream (i feel so funny saying that lol) and I was amazed! I've posted some links of resources that go into depth as to how it works and also a link to a blog of a before and after picture. You can also find a lot of your own research by googling and searching through Youtube. I measured my hair in the corner of my left nape area and it measured exactly 13 1/2 inches, I will be measuring the same area in exactly a month to show you guys the results. Wish me luck =] .

My Directions and Planner as to how I'm doing the 30 day challenge:

• Squeeze about an inch and a half of Monistat 7 into a glass cup
• Pour one or two drops of carrier oils into the cup (I used Moroccan oil)
• Pour about 3 tablespoons of water into the cup and stir until the cream dissolves
• Pour the solution into a Sprayco Bottle and shake (I purchased mines at Harmon's Discount store for 99¢)
• Part your hair into four squares, apply as if you were coloring your roots and rub into scalp
• Apply 2- 3 times per week

 Overnight side affects: NONE
